Robert Thompson guilty of stealing a black mare (valued at £20), the property of John Turner, in the parish of St Mary, Carlisle on 1st July 1790.

His execution, as James Thompson, is reported in the Cumberland Packet.   

According to the registers for St Mary’s, Carlisle Thompson (age 53) was buried on 17 September.
